I think this just answered my question above, although I only read the last few of the 40+ pages. Not holding my breath, but Ceasers would be better placed than most to absorb the hit.

I've used US priceline several times doing this and have suffered no ill effects ^

Don't use the 'name your own price' function. Just do a standard hotel search. The rate doesn't seem valid on sundays.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, was my outlook.

Presumably though, you don't have to pay for the waiters to get through fancy law schools in Phuket.

I finally got in on one of these deals! Just booked 5 nights (including a Sunday) in December which was still cheaper than my original plan. Thanks to the OP!

Quick question...

I have my printed confirmation but does Priceline e-mail a confirmation as well?

I have a conference in LAS in February, so I went ahead and booked 3 nights at Caesar's for $71.58. The conference organizer will probably be upset that I didn't book at the conference hotel, but I couldn't pass up the chance to save $350 over the conference hotel and spend 3 nights at Caesar's Palace instead of where the conference is.

It's amazing that within the space of 11 days, I will be spending 3 nights at Caesar's and 2 nights at the LaQuinta Resort for a total of about $135!
