5,000+ Miles & More miles for any first hotel booking

https://www.miles-and-more.com/onlin...7&cat3=october

- 5,000 extra miles for any booking - looks like Rocktmiles/ Pointshound but its White Label

- prices are often just slightly higher ($11 in the example I found in Hanoi) than everywhere else

Thank you MightyTravels!
The hotel search function on Miles and More keeps telling me that there is no availability for any date and city I enter (I've tried a number of destination in Japan).
Is it the same for other FT members?

Thanks, it works of I chose a stay in Novermber, in Lyon, France.
I can't see any stay-by date in this offer, can anyone see one?

Is there a list of "participating" hotels?

I haven't seen any. Doing a search seems to be the only option, I think.

What does the cancellation policy mean by "100% des Preises bei Stornierung am Tag der Ankunft"? Does that mean that the booking is refundable except if I cancel on the day of the booking itself? I find the whole cancellation thing quite unclear.

that is the literal translation. I'd check the T&C just to make sure.

46 EUR in LAS giving more than 5k miles. Nice way to top off the account. Anyone know how a 'no-show' would count given this is all pre-pay?

I doubt that no-show on a prepay is a problem, although I might not choose LAS because of the resort fees. There are hotels in BKK and elsewhere in Asia in the 40s as well.

I suspect the bonus arriving well after "check-out" is so that people don't book well into the future and the cancel the reservation once the miles bonus is received.

I managed to slip in a reservation just one minute before midnight for a trip to Miami in early February and it seemed to go through alright, giving me a confirmation stating the number of miles to be awarded. I must say, what an awful site to have to trawl through: it's so time and labor intensive. Hotels.com is so much better and easier to use. I also think we're paying well over the odds on that site, so I might sling this reservation out of the window nearer the time if I get a better deal.

EDIT Definitely think I will sling this reservation, the reservations on Tripadvisor and other sources are so bad. It's a shame I left it so late, could have booked another because there's so many properties in South Beach. But nothing at a really sensible price level on this platform.

Is a Germany billing address necessary?

by the way, when I enter through other websites (USA etc.) ...it still shows the 5,000 bonus in the final payment page, should I count on this? or should I go through the German website?
