The fact that they can't be used internationally really makes me not want to buy them. I am more interested in international rather than domestic hotels.

It does work internationally, in North American and the Caribbean.

Thanks, OP! and thanks cfischer for pointing out the 4% cash back and ebay promo (I had 5x ebay bucks). Apparently, it's $350 then $14 cash back and $35 ebay bucks. So you could look at it as a ~25% discount (if all goes well).

It seemed to only allow me to buy 2.

Sell $200 Hyatt GC for $180.20 Amazon GC @ Cardpool.

Use TCB for another 4% back on the sale.

Yes. There is an area to enter gift card number. The only caveat is that you need to purchase then through Paypal and I think almost everyone has a paypal account.

UPDATE: I was curious so I also went and bought a $200 VGC at OD. Earn 1,000 UR points. I was also able to use it to purchase the $200 Hyatt GC for $175. So with the VGC purchase fee, got a $200 Hyatt GC for $182 + 1,000 UR points. Sweet deal.

Why did you not buy a $200 ebay gift card instead? This way, you could have avoided the activation fee.

OD/OM didn't have them. Staples didn't have them at the store, just online. I bought one but apparently it takes them at least 1 biz day (perhaps more) to send the card info. Who knows when the Hyatt $175 offer will sell out.

FYI, I just got my Ebay GC redemption code via email and when I tried to use it, get an error message saying "This card is not yet available for use."

So there you have it. Another strike against Ebay GC's. Who knows how long this promotion lasts but I'm going to lose it if this isn't activated by the time it ends.

Thanks, OP! I bought one yesterday.

I was going to buy on Ebay GC (purchased Q1 on 5% Case Freedom)...but I couldn't find anywhere stating GC was covered under money-back guarantee. (Shows as discount on receipt.) Since this was a physical card delivered via USPS, wasn't sure what would happen if it got lost in the mail. I chickened out and did a standard CC/Paypal purchase.
