When it first started they stated they would *attempt* to list 100 deals in 100 hours. Which they honored.

Grabbed the Marriott in CA as padding for what I hoped would be a more interesting MegaBonus. Thx EHDs.

It was a goal, and I certainly appreciate the entire effort.

Are you being ungrateful, or attempting funny? You achieved one of these.
If they are going to advertise and they must follow through otherwise I'm going to have a problem

I don't know what happened here As I wasn't following the site and they probably should've come up with 100 deals if that is what they stated

They stated they would * attempt* 100 deals in 100 hours.
It was in their original announcement.

As I previously stated.

You are correct

If this site did this, then I would have a problem with this

I wouldn't trust it to perform its end of the deal and hence I would not use this site

Luckily for me, I did not use the site so in the end it was not a problem for me

but it sounds like a site that isn't that reliable

hence I wouldn't recommend using it based on whats been posted in this thread

I didn't see the we going to try I saw the question mark image stating 100 deals in 100 hours. I for check this site regularly although I haven't used a deal yet and I'm greatful for their efforts.

The question I had was why did it end at 81 and why did it take a week ?

He can't
Dog with a bone...grrrrrrr
Ever since Bill Clinton questioned the definitions, people have questioned the minute details to adnauseum.
Dog with a bone.....grrrrrrrrrr
Blind to logic or any other point of view. holding a website to doing everything they say is like believing that melty is a real word anywhere other than fast food commercials.
Dog with a bone.....grrrrrrrrrrrr
I love doing the rightgeous indignation rant too, but really?, really?
Dog with a bone.

so true!
++++1

EHD also had many double deals (like the NYC hotels) that were not counted towards the 100, maybe if all the extras were added up they would have reached 100? Have any of the critics bother to actually count all the hotels listed?
In the end. What does it matter anyways, anybody willing to post deals should be lauded not harassed. We are all waiting on the deals from the critics here so that we can compare their performance from the peanut gallery. Even 10 deals or maybe just one deal for every critical post?

I got one, but received an email from booking.com raising the rate.

We apologize on behalf of Booking.com and The Buckingham Athletic Club Hotel for this error. The actual rate for The Buckingham Athletic Club Hotel is US$229.00, and not US$26.10 as mentioned on your reservation.

Please contact us at your earliest convenience to confirm if you can accept it. We thank you for your understanding and we are available 24 hours a day to help reach an agreeable solution.
