wow - I booked my last booking about a few minutes before the deal was done.

I'm still shaking a little. I booked a room in at the Chase Suite Hotel Tampa on 12/29 for $3.20!!!! It looks like a decent apartment-style hotel about 30 mins from Clearwater Aquarium. Free parking, free buffet breakfast. It quoted me about $40 (with the $100 discount) but when I went through to book, the price suddenly dropped to $3.20 plus it's refundable. WOW.

I managed to snag 3 bookings.
The one above for my trip to Clearwater Aquarium
and 2 more for a trip to Universal Orlando in May 2015. Onsite at the Hard Rock Hotel with free express pass - wooohoooo!!

Why would it not be honored? It was an advertised sale. Orbitz spend $1MM and met their quota

Deal went dead while we were settling on a hotel. Still got three nights in Amsterdam for less than $100!

Codes are now exhausted people.

We're sorry but limited numbers of this promo code were available for redemption and the limit has been reached.
Booked one hotel for a decent discount myself, paid 26$ on top.

Hope y'all were able to grab something nice!

well that was fun

Never did find out why Orbitz called - the man was hard to understand but all my bookings seem intact. I was surprised to get Hilton Grand properties in Las Vegas, thought they would be exempt. Wow, great stuff. ^

I think I got in just at the very end. I confirmed one booking for $4 and went back in and got the 'we're sorry.....' message. Thanks OP!

Upon double checking - it doesn't look like my $3.20 reservation went through I don't see it in any of our Orbitz accounts. I know I went through all the steps and used Visa Checkout - but of course I closed the screen without checking for confirmation.

Oh well looks like it didn't process properly. You win some, you lose some.

i see absolutely no reason why this should not be honored. it was a straight-forward promo by orbitz and visa. t&c spelled out what you can do. nothing in the terms against multiple bookings....

Sweet deal. I got a few nights in Chicago. I decided last minute to book Toronto for a weekend, but the deal expired while hesitating over dates. No problems though, I got Chicago, which is what I wanted in the first place.

On each card I used, besides the accurate charge for the room, I have an amount charged, and then refunded, by Orbitz. Not that I'm too skeptical of a major OTA and a Visa program, but account verification is usually cents and these were all in the $20 range. So I guess I'm not sure what happened, as I can't make the math add up anywhere to figure out what this charge/refund is for. Surprised me and I guess I'll just keep an eye on it to make sure it disappears for good. Unless someone knows this is a typical Orbitz thing?
