Up to $125 AMEX Gift Card per YVR Night, book by Nov 16, stay Feb 28

Pretty similar to last year... this year they're also offering "1 in 10 bookings are free" promo.

Up to $125, some hotels are $100 or $75.

You can book with beVancouver.

Make a booking at any of our hotels before November 16th 2014

Check-in must be before or on February 28th 2015

This Promotional rate is Pre-Paid, Non-Cancellable and Non-Transferable

The full amount of your booking will be charged by the hotel at the time the booking is made

If your booking is the 1 of 10 that is free, you will be alerted via email confirmation

Bookings can be made using VISA, MasterCard, or American Express

Guests will receive their AMEX Prepaid Gift Card per booking, not per night

Separate consecutive night bookings at the same hotel will not result in the guest receiving more than one AMEX gift card

A Maximum of 3 bookings per person is enforced - all subsequent bookings will be converted into normal Best Available Rate bookings (and will apply the corresponding Terms and Conditions) and the guest will not receive an AMEX Prepaid Gift Card

beVancouver Terms and Conditions Apply

Damn, living in YVR this doesn't really work for me but it sounds like a cool promo.

Based on past years, do rooms booked through this promo site qualify for points earning in the corresponding hotel program (Marriott, Hilton, etc.)?

how about if I book one night and my friend books another night at the same hotel, would we not get two GCs?

You would get two, to my knowledge.

Not quite the deal of past years when the Amex value exceeded the room cost in some bookings, but still a great deal.

I just did.

My hotel is right downtown.

Rate was CAD 85. Amex offer was CAD 75. So final price is CAD 10 + tax.

Cheapest offer on hotels own website was CAD 115 + tax.

Yes, you do get points. I booked Pinnacle Marriott using the same promo and I got points and all the perks (lounge access, free buffet breakfast, room upgrade, personalized welcome letter) being a Marriott gold member. I am actually thinking of booking it again this year although the daily rate I got last year was $25 cheaper than now.
