threw your referral code into that URL - nice

But I used your referral code and just booked a hotel using the $35 new member credit and 10% off. Thanks!

Just a quick reminder to all - referral codes are not permitted in Hotel Deals. If you'd like to share your TravelPony referral code with the Flyertalk community, please post it here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/s-p-m...ravelpony.html

Was going to book anyway

I jumped on this. Got a $55 room in Buenos Aires for $15 after $35 credit and 10% discount. Wohoo!

You could have also used cashback at befrugal.com and got some more $ back

Does anyone have any experience with canceling a reservation on travelpony.com?

Do they credit the amount back to my credit card or do I only get TravelCredit which I only can use for new reservations?

Also many hotels (including the one I am looking at) say: Free cancelation, while there T&C state that a "minimum cancelation apllies".

Would appreciate any feedback to this.

Thanks for this. I used it to book a pair of reservations in Puerto Rico next month. Along with the referral coupon, it works out to be a pretty great deal even though the resort I booked wasn't my first choice.

I'm also curious about the cancellation piece. The hotels I booked both said $0, and if I can manage to get a comparable rate elsewhere, I'll definitely cancel at least one of these.

We had to cancel a booking. Was no problem. Got a refund back to our card and part paid by travelpony credit went back to being retained as credit for future use.

Oh and this was at the Flamingo in Vegas.

Thanks. Booked a hotel in London using the 35 USD credit received when signing up and this discount code - worked perfectly.
