DoubleTree by Hilton Avanos-Cappadocia Turkey 36euros

I do not think is a mistake , since it shows available for lots of dates in 2012 and 2013 for those going to Turkey.

Is non refundable ,but includes breakfast as well.

Hope it helps someone.

Wow, great rate! And I am thinking seriously of going there in the late spring. If only it weren't non -refundable... Has anyone been there? Is it a new property?

BTW, it's 36 Euros for one person, but 48 for 2 people. Still a great deal...

A Hilton in Cappadocia?? Wow, things have changed since I was there in 2000. We stayed in a cave hotel for $7 per night including breakfast. It was mostly a backpacker type place back then.

For 2 people? I only found that rate when I changed it to 1 person... (I was checking dates in late June.)

You are correct. A rate for 2 people is 48 euros.
I wonder whether you can book it as 1 person, show up and see what happens.
Will they ask for additional 12 euros or charge a rack rate for the second person?

Probably it is not worth the risk.

I would consider risking it if it was a room-only rate. Since it includes breakfast, I think it reasonable that there would be a higher rate for 2 people.

I drove past that hotel just a few weeks ago and thought "that is an interesting place for a Doubletree!". It wasn't close to much except the pottery place we were visiting (chez galip) but it looked nice/new. Just not as neat as staying in a cave hotel.

hilton avanos stay?

Has anyone stayed here at this Hilton/DoubleTree in Cappadocia? I'm planning a trip in Oct 2013 and will be going to Cappadocia for 3 nights/2 days - will more than likey use Hilton rewards to book the room at this hotel depending on comments here.

Do you know if there is an executive lounge - if so, what was it like?

Thanks for your input.

I stayed for 3 nights in early September this year. The hotel rooms are lovely and the amenities are very nice. Breakfast was awesome. Staff very nice and I got two cookies at checkin. Nice welcome basket as a Diamond including wine.

The bad thing is that there is nothing in the line of restaurants or shops near by. I was exhausted at the end of a day of touring and as I had my main meal at lunch not going out was not a problem. I just hung out by the pool and spa and went to bed early.

If you have your own car stay there if not be prepared for cab rides.
