Body scanners at Hong Kong airport

I don't believe HKG is listed under the body scanner thread. Are there any body scanners at Hong Kong international airport when flying to Europe of the USA ? They were supposed to be implemented I heard.
In addition does anybody know how recent is the intel in the Body Scanners thread started by TWA884 in 2010 ? Is it still up to date in 2017?

No - just the normal walk-through archways.

NoS

There seemed to be one in one of the 'you tube' videos I saw, filmed by people going to the USA.

Well you are mistaken because there aren't any. What does exist in HKG is an army of scavangers at gates for US (and Australia) flights looking for water bottles.

They are only looking for water. Empty bottles has never been a problem.

However, toy guns, especially those used by Buzz Lightyear, are not.
