Passing by Shenzhen from Hong Kong

Hello,

I will be traveling from Hong Kong to Shenzhen. I won't be staying in Shenzhen, I just need to go to the train station in Shenzhen. Currently I have a Chinese visa. My question is, do I need a different type of visa to enter Shenzhen (because it's a special economic zone) or will a Chinese visa suffice? I am an American.

No special visa is required.

ETA: Shenzhen (Shekou, in particular) was the first place in Mainland China to welcome foreigners after Mao passed away... ~38 years ago, and continues to be one of the most open now. In general, SEZs crave foreign visitors.
