Hong Hom luggage storage

Hong Hom luggage storage
I am presently in HK. Going to HKCEC today, then taking train to shenzhen.
I was thinking of trying to get my luggage to Hong Hom station, and store it there for the day. This would allow me to get it there during a time that is less crazy on the MTR.
But. I am told,it is not like Hong Kong station, where they have a service. I am told it is just electronic lockers.
Anyone have any experience with these? Are they large enough for full size suitcase? Are they generally available?
Any suggestions on a backup plan?
