Seriously...the food offering at East Hall needs to be improved (if you have been both, you should be able to tell that West Hall has more food offering).

Looks like there is a landside Terminal 2 Plaza Premium Lounge listed on Priority Pass now. Is that the arrivals lounge?

...and for what it is worth I accessed it last year with a PP Select via US Amex Plat. Used it yesterday, too. Both allow showers which cost cash customers money. Only surprise? HKD 38 for a glass of mediocre white wine.

How does this lounge compare to whatever *A lounges there are at HKG?
I have a VN flight out of HKG (I'm *A Gold but not sure if I'd be eligible to use *A lounge before a VN flight but I also have a Priority Pass membership)
Also a C ticket leaving HKG on Eva flight connecting to a UA flight to SFO.

Differences in F&B offering. Same level of service (all 3 *G lounges are operated by PPL).
Then no.
BR uses VS lounge primarily, although you do have access to other *G lounges as well.
