I completely agree. Poor bread can really spoil my breakfast.

Hilton Vienna Plaza - full breakfast in the restaurant or in lounge

Malta:

Didn't know you could choose! We were there a week and ate breakfast in the lounge every day. I guess it pays to ask...

(BTW, I think of this as the Hilton Tokyo Shinjuku too, just to distinguish it from Tokyo Bay )

I made sure I uttered those words to the taxi drivers lest they blissfully think it's the Tokyo Bay one that I'm headin for.

Actually I'm not sure here. Had two stays a week apart. First stay was club lounge access but second stay the hotel was really busy and they didn't have a club room but offered breakfast and free Internet but no club lounge access, I took that up as I was only there overnight and I didn't want to waste time waiting for a club room to avail. Breakfast at the lobby level was definitely better. Should have asked if there's a choice next time when in club room.

Hotel Maya (Doubletree) in Long Beach next to the Queen Mary

As Gold, received 2 breakfast vouchers. Vouchers were good for $15 each towards anything on the menu - no buffet available. Continental breakfast was $16 on the menu. Used for 2 omelets at $14 each plus drinks and they subtracted $30 from the bill.

DoubleTree Missoula Edge Water
$10 voucher for use in the restaurant. (Enough for a continental breakfast entree. A two egg breakfast costs $12 on the menu before the voucher.)

Hilton Cocoa Beach gives coupons for continental breakfast. Upgrade to full buffet is $7 (not $6).

Update on Fashion District Hilton on 28th NYC

Used to be a voucher for your choice of continental buffett of a variety of hot entrees or cold continental buffet.

Stayed here last night and it's the same hot menu (with some good choices BTW like eggs benedict and a black forest ham breakfast sandwich) but now the buffet is hot. Typical items like eggs, bacon, bread selecttion and oatemal, but strangely no fresh fruit at all. I also didnt see the option to order things like omlets that most Hilton hot buffets had.

For Arizona:
DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Paradise Valley - Scottsdale
Full breakfast buffet
yes, that is the name of the hotel

A std scrambled egg option plus a southwestern egg option that varies. Make your own waffle, sausage links, bacon, standard canned fruit options/cereals/pastries.
