Sometimes I find the Team USA corporate code to also be 2635167 (at least in my experience for Hampton and DoubleTree). IOW, I try 'dem all ! @:-)

I generally find Team USA to be a 15% disc, while MVP is 20%

as others have said 15% off is alot better then $0 off , but I prefer MVPs 20%

You must have learned your maths same place I did...

I find the TEAM USA rate is used best when the MVP rate is not offered, which I have found on occasion.

I've used this rate whenever my corporate or MVP rates don't work (or if it somehow ends up being cheaper). I've never had anyone ask me for ID. Although, I've never gotten any kind of upgrade when using it.

Both Team USA rates worked for me without using the "000" before the rest of the numbers. Dropped the $95 BAR rate to $75 for a HGI I'm looking to book, and if I'd booked it last week, or for the week after next week, the rate would have dropped to $67. MVP rate didn't work this time, where it had worked at that property on prior trips, and the AAA/CAA rate showed $85.

I've never used the Team USA rate before, we'll see how I'm received at checkin, and if I can get my Gold MYWAY choice of comped breakfasts for two without any problem. More importantly, will the points and stay credit post without a hassle in the usual two or three days after checkout.

Further to my above post, when I went to book the room for later this week and chose the room, on the initial details page above my home address it showed "U.S. Soccer Federation", where it usually would show "MVP" when booking with the MVP rate. Hadn't seen that before as in the rates page it only showed as "Gold Rate". Wondering if booking a property by someone not being a U.S. resident would bring a question as to their affiliation with the soccer group at checkin.

So has anyone not from the U.S. used the Team USA rate to book a room and not been asked for ID on checkin?

Thanks,

bj-21.

The advancement of US soccer on the world stage over the last two decades has been nothing short of incredible.

This is due in no small part to the dedication of foreign coaches such as blackjack-21

Thanks, JohnnyColumbia,

Didn't think you'd notice me coaching from the last seat in the upper deck of the stadium, where the air is thinnest.

(Actually thanks for my good laugh while you were answering my question.)

I checked in once with the Team USA rate and the front desk clerk said something along the lines "We have your USA Soccer Federation number on file" and kinda give ma look like he knew that I didn't "deserve" the rate but let me check in anyways.
