Make Your Hilton Hotels Request Upon Arrival Question

I am bringing the family to San Diego in a couple of weeks. I noticed among the things that I can purchase through the Request Upon Arrival program are tickets to Sea World and the Zoo. Has anyone ever purchased tickets through Hilton like this. This would be a good way to earn some Hhhonors points. My concern is the wording at the bottom of the page "A $2.50 Room Service Delivery Charge and 19% Gratuity are added to all orders. Price does not include 8.75% Sales Tax."

Do you think they would hit me with the 19%?

Given the way HH screws up My Way requests, point postings, and many other aspects of the program, I'd just buy the tickets from the venue directly or through another reliable third party. You likely can find a AAA or some other type of discount that more than compensates for any points you presumably would earn.

+1

If you really want the points, just check with the FD or concierge at check-in. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to sell you stuff at that time, too.
