Any way to tell when a hotel was built or renovated
Hi All
Did a search and couldn't find any mention of it. Been switching over from Marriott to Hilton. Is there any way on the web site where you can see when a hotel was built or renovated. Marriott has that feature when you book a reservation.
Thanks

You can usually google the hotel name and city and there will be a story someplace about when it was renovated. There's no way to tell if that was the last renovation or not (unless it was fairly recent) but it may be a starting place.
If anything Hilton uses "Newly renovated" or "Undergoing renovation" without giving you much of a clue as to when.

Check the toilet. The date of toilet manufacture used to be stamped on the tank lid or inside the tank. That will give you a rough estimate of when it was installed. ^
