I got downgraded to Blue, and there was note on my account that Gold was obtained due to unauthorized way by using Infinite Gold promotion.

Did anyone get the same thing?

How did you find out there was a note on your account?

When did you obtain your Gold thru this?

I called to find out why the status changed, and that is where csr mentioned hat it was downgraded for using infinite gold promotion. I recently renewed it and was expiring in mar 2015.

Used the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Priority Banking Visa Infinite card 4423 9483 3xxx xxxx that was later banned (cos too many people used the first 10-digit without the card including myself). Still Gold as of this morning.

Got the gold status using this trick sometime last year...Can't remember, maybe it was early May?

Anyway, I expected the Gold status to be valid till 05/13 or so, but just received a NEW GOLD card in the mail, and the attached letter states that my Gold membership has been extended to 03/2014.

What???!!!!?

Now I'm confused and worried. Why would they extend my gold status for another year?

Any suggestions/ideas?
