The hotel is now on the Hilton website. I'm having some trouble finding the hotel category, or a link to check for an award booking. Is someone a better sleuth than me?

Hilton Ts and Cs contain a section on diamond benefits at Waldorf-Astoria collection hotels. No mention is made of this hotel.

Yes the hotel is now on the Hilton and W=A website.

There is neither a link for an award booking, nor the hotel appears for award booking when searching for awards booking for Hilton family hotels in France, nor there is any information anywhere about it.

Maybe they are working on it.

The Waldorf=Astoria Collection <> Trianon Palace Versailles <> Photo Tour

Is it Westin, the previous operator of Trianon Versailles, which made the joke on the internet site of the Trianon Palace Versailles ? :

Photo 3 / 14 of "Versailles" (a glimps of the palace's legendary garden) is the view of ... the Louvre, also a former royal residence indeed, but located in Paris, close to the Jardin des Tuileries ... and opposite the Westin Paris

Just booked a three-night weekend stay as part of the January sale.

Can someone please help me with how to get to the Trianon Palace from CDG via the RER?

Thank you.

If you look on the trip advisor forum for paris and do a search, it's all there.
Also on the hotel website it mentins that there is currently a reduction in points needed for award stays

Not mentioned how many points per night needed.
Let´s assume 40,000 points per night:
A four nights stay would be accordingly 160.000 HH points minus 20% = 128.000 HH points.

No information about upgrade / benefits policy yet. Upgrade to Palace building accommodation for Golds/Diamonds? Comp breakfast?
Would be a good deal for that hotel anyway.
Code TRN4N can not be booked online, nor any reward stay for Trianon Palace.

The January weekend sale rate is less than 160 Euros per night (including tax) and includes breakfast for two. Therefore, if booking for a weekend, it makes sense to not use points.

I'll report back in March after my stay re: upgrades, Diamond treatment, etc.

Agreed. On January weekends better to pay than to use points.

As I will not go to TP again before April/May, I will be curious to hear your report.

I was disappointed at the diamond benefits, stated to me by a contact at the hotel:

With your Diamond level you will have three possibility at the check in :

- free up grade and local gift or

- 1000 points on your Diamond car or

- free internet access.

Please note the Trianon Palace Waldorf=Astoria Collection do not offer the free breakfast.

I expressed myself wrong.

I mean weekend booking with January sales, not weekends in January.

By the way the Jan sales is has been extended to Feb 12th.
