7500 points? Which hotels?

Maybe it's just me, but I would really like to find out which hotels redeem for 7500 points. The lowest I can ever find is 10000. Is this similar to PC's PointBreaks? And is there someway I can find a list of hotels that offer this as opposed to going through every hotel and still not finding one?

The 7500pt hotels are getting rarer. My local airport Hampton Inn was 'Opportunity Level' as they call it but went to 10,000pts. Now it is no longer in the Hilton Family

I spent 10 minutes clicking through every country and every US state. NO hotels found for opportunity.

I wonder this makes them false adversement when they claim certain points can give you so many nights at opportunity hotel?

In the past 3 weeks, they have raised points/changed categories again. I had 2 opportunity level hotels that I stayed at regularly, in Jackson, MS, but one is now level 1 and the other is now level 2. going from 7500 to 2000 pts per night I think is a but much in one whack.

I DO know of one remaining Opportunity (7500 pts), however, in my home state area- Hampton Inn Olive Branch, MS. This is just outside the Memphis, TN state line and convenient to the University of MS (Ole Miss) for all you football fans.

There is one HI off the 143B exit on 95. It is about 5 miles south of Quantico and 7 miles north of Fredericksburg. The hotel is here.

HH has inflated the points required about 5x the US Cost of Living. I currently know only of one worn noisy HI:

Hampton Inn Houston/Baytown
7211 Garth Road
Baytown, Texas, USA, 77521
1-281-421-1234
HHonors Reward Category: Opportunity

The search engine that is linked above is not accurate. I recently did a search for a hotel in the Lexington, KY area, and there were two opportunity-level hotels that came up: Hampton Inn Danville and Hampton Inn Dry Ridge. In addition, I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Guntersville, AL last spring at the opportunity rate, and was very impressed (it is still an opp).

Thanks everybody, it helps...at least I know where to find it now. Their website isn't very user friendly.

Yes. I had an award stay booked at a hotel that went from 10,000 to 20,000. I am glad I noticed that the itin was now saying that I needed a C201 cert. My first response from the Diamond Desk was "tough luck." After I showed them the confirmation I'd received on January 28 showing a C101 cert needed, they emailed me back and said "oops, ok; you can do it for the C101." I've printed a copy of that email to show the desk.

At the last big wholesale devaluation, the far-east Portland, Oregon, area Hampton Inn went from 7500 to 20,000. It was hardly worth 7500. Luckily, I got in under the wire on the last day.

The St. Louis/Florissant Hampton Inn went from 10,000 to 20,000. Again, hard to understand why.

The best value 10,000 point Hampton remains, imo, the Hampton DFW/Six Flags.

Just check my chart for opportunity level--don't know when this year's changes come into effect for category changes but this was current in February.

That one is a decent value. The property still has a newish feel about it and Guntersville can be fun, although less fun if you're not into fishing.
