Delta MQM promo is back!

Stay 2 nights between Sept 1 and Dec 10, 2010 and get either MQMs per $ spent or fixed 500 MQMs + 500 Bonus miles.

Now we need to find a list of excluded hotels.

Also, I wonder if we can double dip on the double miles promo on stays before Sept. 30?

Does this also include Hampton Inns? Where you only get 100 miles per visit.

i wondered that same thing but did not see any exclusion specific to Hampton Inn. i agree, clarification is needed for that.

I'd advise betting on 100 for Hampton/Homewood. They didn't specify it last year and I only got 100 MQM for a stay. When I called and wrote the Diamond desk they wouldn't budge - even when I pointed out the language on the offer. Further still they refused to repost it as all points when I asked as well (100 MQMs was such a pittiance).

that is incredibly lame IMO. i am tempted to just switch my double dip back to points and points.

With Hampton, you can still do Miles per Dollar spent (variable miles vs fixed miles). It says on the hhonors site that with Hamptons, you cannot get the 500 Mile bonus, it's 100 instead.

I just stayed at Hampton Sep 1-3, and it gave me the Q3 Double points and the Delta MQM promotion:

Hampton - 100 vs 500 MQM
I stayed at Hampton last week... only got 100 MQM.

DELTA Q4 2010 MQM PROMOTION - Hampton Bnghmtn/Vestal 0 100 10-Sep-2010

I picked the fixed option.

True enough - you can go with the per dollar miles rate but that's going to only be useful if you have a stay/rate that gets a high enough base folio as compared to other possibilities. Most of my stays are 2 nights or so so its generally better to find a HGI which is usually not that much more a night and get the 500 MQM instead of about 200 or so at Hampton.

My Hilton activity shows 500 for "DL Double Dip", but nothing for the MQMs. Is that the same thing or will there be a separate entry for the MQMs?
