You don't have to pay taxes and fees on rewards booking.

Yes; we stayed there last year on a reward stay and they took a credit card swipe for incidentals. We billed spa visits, bar tabs, excursions, car and driver trips, pool food and drink, and dinners to the room. At the end we settled up and they billed the card, and I was also able to add a tip for the maid staff on to that charge as well. The desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.

If one books the Conrad Suites, is airport pickup/dropoff included in that rate?

I have always enjoyed impeccable service at the Conrad Bali and appreciate the genuine warmth of the hotel staff. For that reason, I keep returning to this hotel, even if I have to pay for the airport transfer. Please note that my return trip to the airport has always been complimentary, so I only pay for a one-way transfer.

1 way transfer via silver bird is quite expensive, to be honest I would have rather paid for a standard blue bird taxi ticket at the airport, almost 1/4 the price.

And yes, the club access Mercedes service is really handy at IC Bali. They even transferred us as far as Tanjung Benoa (Conrad).

Please tell me more about the club access mercedes service? Who is entitled to it and where does it take you?

Well their limousine is usually a mercedes, if available, if not a 6 seater van type vehicle. Club benefits include airport transfer, but they allowed us to use it for other locations FOC.

I know about the IC as I am a regular there. Now if you get upgraded to the Conrad suites do you still get the airport transfers?

IC Bali offers Mercedes service, which was used to get to the Conrad. Conrad does not offer complimentary Mercedes service.

As for the Conrad:
As a Diamond member, you will have access to our Club lounge, please find the inclusion of the Club Lounge access as below:

· Breakfast from 7.00am until 11.00am;
· Afternoon tea from 3.00pm until 5.00pm;
· Evening cocktails from 5.00pm until 7.00pm;
· Complimentary internet access in the Club Lounge between 7.00am - 11.00pm;
· 15% off laundry and dry cleaning;
· 15% off restaurant and bar accounts (food & beverage);
· 15% off Jiwa Spa treatments (except retail);
· 15% off Business Centre services, including meeting room rental.
I booked a Conrad Suite (not an upgrade), and received the above benefits with the exception of discounted laundry - instead, we had unlimited free laundry. Which was invaluable for our family of three, since our stay at the Conrad was at the end of a three week SE Asian trip ^

Would you also get it for free if you receive an upgrade to a Conrad Suite?
