Arrow Hilton Garden Inn Athens Downtown {US-GA}

I will be spending two weeks at this hotel. Any hints about the hotel? Best room? Area?

Thanks,
Marcia

Hilton Garden Inn - Athens, GA: What to expect?

I was wondering if anyone has recent experiences at this property?

Will be staying there next month and was wondering what others have experienced.

Also, any idea what type of upgrade a Diamond might get at this property?

Will you be there on a weekend? If its anywhere close to a home football game it will be hectic. I stay there couple times a year during footba season. I'm not sure of upgrade as never been offered one as gold and its always sold out when I'm there. Breakfast same, usually don't eat at hotel or haven't in awhile in order to make it to tailgate. Nice hotel thought IMO and very much with in walking distance to everything in downtown. Lots of good restaurants nearby and of course bars.

Very smart! Well you will be fine then. It's one of the 2 nicest hotels in town and I have never had a bad experience.

I just stayed there last night and as a HH Gold I requested a corner room and was upgraded. I have stayed there about six times the last few months and really enjoyed myself. Good service, nice workout room and comfortable beds. The room service is pretty good and the bar downstairs to nice. You should enjoy Athens.

Any recent updates on this property? I'm thinking of a stay here in a few weeks.

Thanks!

Stayed here in December, perfectly fine. Breakfast seating was slow, I just sat myself and got on with it. Otherwise no issues at all. Great location in town, I'd definitely stay again.
