Arrow DISCUSSION for Hilton Honors Hotels in or near Dallas, Texas, USA {US-TX}

A search for Dallas didn't bring back what I wanted.

Any Hilton recommendations in Dallas? Prefer Hilton but wouldn't mind the others either.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites in Grapevine and get HH points. The hotel wasn't bad, nothing to write home about but no problems either. The room rate included a good buffet breakfast. The hotel is actually attached to a mall, which my European colleagues took full advantage of. The name of the hotel was Embassy Suites - DFW Outdoor World and was just 10-15 minutes from the airport.

Telephone number is972.724.2600

try any of the Homewood Suites, I am very biased to Homewood, excellent product and service, far better than any Marriott product. There are several..Las Calinas, Plano, Market Center, Lewisville, Dallas/Greenville.

I really liked the Doubletree Dallas Park Central. On the weekends its only $62 and they were good about giving breakfast coupons to Gold members.

Doubletree Lincoln center (LBJ and the tollway) is a very good choise.
I love the Homewood Suites in Addison (On Belt Line Rd., near lots of restaurants). The HGI Addison is very good as well. It's located just a mile down on Belt Line.
Another good choise in the area is the Embassy Suites near the Galleria. A very high standard ES atrium hotel.

Seawolf - Dallas is a huge area, please mention which area\town\address you are looking for.

Park Cities is new, just opened early March. I haven't been in a room, as I live here, but was there for a reception. It's nice, not the Ritz, but I think it is probably their best property in DFW.

Really depends on where you will be:
Downtown/Park Cities - Park Cities Hilton or Embassy Suites Market Center
Galleria/Addison - Doubletree Galleria
Plano - bad options, drive from the Galleria
Las Colinas/Southlake - DFW Hilton

Hilton HHonors Properties in Dallas/Fort Worth

Was just holding to hear information about my booking when I got cut off. Phoned back and the message said that HHONORS is now closed due to bad weather in DFW area.

How bad is it?

Gee -- looks just like the weather we have been having for the last 5 days here. Just a little bit of snow and ice.

Yes, but their hockey team seems to do better in it than yours...
