Buenos Aires H: Current info/ email address?
United is offering a special rate to fly from DC non-stop to BA for $199. Any recent info on H there: do Golds get up graded to Concierge/Executive level? Is Concierge Club nice? Open weekends? Are drinks complimentary? If you would have email address or website for the hotel, it would be hepful. Thank you in advance.

I just bought one ($423 from Newark, plus taxes) and made a reservation at the Hilton, for mid-November.

I consider the BA Hilton to be one of the best properties I have stayed in (4 times in the last 4 months). I've always paid less than US$90 a night, and I consider that a bargain for the property. Remember that the Hilton does have to pay for many things in US$. I also get upgraded to the Executive Floor as a Gold.

Me too, please.... I will be in Buenos Aires next July for 4 nights. The best rate I found was $125. Did you book online or directly with the hotel ?

Heard SoFlyOn's Hilton tips over Lobster in SFO last night.
I was in Buenos Aires 2 days ago. Hotels are bleeding there and some great deals are about if you talk DIRECT to hotel was my experience. Suites for $50 night + tax etc as per thread below. I suspect Hilton is no different in that they will do deals if you ask the right person.

Glen, I'm incorporating some of your advice (not enough time for all ) you posted on your Christmas trip in the South Atlantic in our upcominmg visit to Argentina and need more info on BA hotels.
The link you posted leads to dim sum in SF, very nice but I missed the BA hotel info. Should I look for another link?
Thanks.

I´m currently at the BA Hilton and find it to be an outstanding property. Great staff, nice rooms, very good executive lounge (full breakfast, afternoon tea, happy hour), fantastic location. I would say it´s at the top of my list for the Hiltons I´ve stayed at. Perhaps the Sorrento Hilton is equal, IMO.

Are you adding Antarctica and Tierra Del Fuego on to your Southern Sth America trip or the Falkand Islands?? I spent year end in both in consecutive years recently, and both are well worth the extra travel.

Thanks very much, Glen.
Sadly, we won't be able to make it to Antarctica, but plan to get to Tierra del Fuego. I booked the GBP240 + tax in C on LX - can't change the ticket to spend more time in AR but no complaints!
