Strange upgrade to Gold?!
I have been a member of Hhonors for some time. I was only ever gold through the UK Platinum card and have been silver since about 2012.
However when booking a stay last week I noticed that I was now classed as a Gold. I have only had two stays in 2014, one was nonqualifying and the other was a very low point earner.
I went into the personal details area and after checking the online version, it does indeed say gold exp 3/2016.
Confused>! Has this happened to anyone else?
I have asked for a card to be mailed to me!

My account home page shows gold, the online print card shows gold and the confirmation for a recent booking also shows gold. When I go into the my way settings page this also features options as if we're gold.
I think I should just calm down and accept my good fortune!
I could put it doan to a glitch with the old UK platinum amex but this went a long time ago so it can't be that.

That could have explained it but my activity simply shows the two stays last year. With points which don't even amount to silver!
