Citi Hilton Credit Cards Bonuses: Reserve and Standard Signature

Hey guys. If I previously got a Citi HHonors Reserve card that came with the two free night certificates (to specify it was last year and I cancelled it, but still not longer than 18 months), would I get the 40K bonus if I apply for the no fee standard Citi HHonors signature product? Has anyone had a recent experience with this? Many thanks.

IME (though albeit not with Citi) you should, since they are two separate cards.

Nothing in the Citi fine print points to not allowing this.

For one it only gives 40,000 points instead of 50K and MUCH MORE IMPORTANT it has this language.

Hilton HHonors Bonus Points offer not available if you have had a Citi Hilton HHonors Visa Signature Card account that was opened or closed in the past 18 months.

I have a feeling the churn is going to end real soon, below is the only churnable link I know of.

I already have this card. Does Citi allow 2 of the same cards at the same time if my FICO score is good enough? My score is just over 800.

I have had 19 of these HH Visa card in about the last 2 years. If you use the correct link and have the credit you can "currently" get two of these cards every 65 days or so.

Did you cancel before applying for another card or did you get approved for an additional card when you already had one?

I have 5 open right now including card # 19 which I got a few days ago.

I also fixed a typo in my last reply, you can TWO of these cards every 65 days or so.

Here is the thread.
