23 Stays, 62 nights, 66,000 base points YTD. I have 19 nights booked through end of the year and did no receive an offer. But I'm a pretty low value diamond, averaging $106/night only in room rate.

Ah phooey. Made Diamond for next year as of posting today (30st, 40nt, 108K+ so far), but...DENIED! 
Too bad, as I have at least 6 more stays this year!

This is a shocking example of a corporation that doesn't care, last year I managed to scam my way onto the promotion. The net effect, Hilton gained further loyalty for zero cost.
This year rejection, but as others have found 2500 points in compensation (aka. $25 value should you be stupid enough to buy the points).
I will try and chase down the person behind this negative marketing idea when I get time and explain that HH is a loyalty programme that should drive loyalty in its most loyal members not seek to alienate them.

Will have another 6-7 stays by mid-Dec with 5 nights each (well, a 3-nighter the week of Thanksgiving)
And, fwiw, I took a 2-month break from Hilton after the HH Diamond desk royally pissed us off during a summer road trip. Made Hyatt Diamond challenge easily in that timeframe but back to HH for remainder of project. So maybe this was a way to be sure I'm staying at Hilton again?

Still no offer here (= no Hilton stays until 2015). Which is not smart from their side because now my $$ are flowing towards the home improvement sector.
On the other hand, for years I have been targeted with Hilton promotional emails. Yesterday, for the first time ever, some of the hotel-suggestions on that email reflected hotels I am actually likely to stay at in the next half year or so. Even the suggested activities ('Canopy' type) were right.
My account must has been hacked!

I emailed the diamon desk last week to ask if I could be signed up for the offer, having not got the email. I explained it'd affect which chain I'd be putting many of my stays for the remainder of 2014 to. Just got a reply
So, looks like it's worth emailing to ask, for the points but sadly not the offer. Oh well, time to go book some more IHG and Starwood stays for December instead!
