Time to credit points from a stay?
Hi,
How long does it take to credit points from a stay.
Had an issue at a recent hotel and they very kindly said they would refund my points.
All I can see on my statement is the 40,000 points being taken.

For me its always 2-3 days. I imagine it may differ by hotel but if its been over a week then somethings wrong.

It depends on how the hotel issued the refund, but Service Recovery postings seem to happen in a weekly sweep on Fridays, generally the week after your stay.

I was told 30 days, which seems a long time.
It was deducted on the 12th.
Problem is, I guess, if they do not come back it is only my word against theirs. I have no proof that they would refund the points.
