2013/2014 ‘More Nights, More Points’ Promotion Info
What is the promotion?
Members who register and complete an eligible stay at participating Hilton HHonors hotels and resorts will earn their standard HHonors Base Points plus:
“Double Points” on stays of 2 consecutive nights,
“Triple Points” on stays of 3 consecutive nights, or
“Quadruple Points” on stays of 4 or more consecutive nights
Members staying 1 night will receive their standard Base Points and additional Bonus Points will not be earned through the More Nights, More Points promotion.
Promotion Period: October 10, 2013 – January 31, 2014

What is an eligible stay?

What type of points will HHonors members be issued for this promotion?
Members will have the opportunity to earn Bonus Points. Standard HHonors Terms and Conditions apply. There is no limit to the total amount of Bonus Points that can be earned during the Promotion Period.
What does Double, Triple and Quadruple Points mean?
* "Double Points" mean you will receive a bonus equal to the number of Base Points earned on eligible stays of 2 consecutive nights.
* "Triple Points" means you will receive a bonus equal to twice the number of Base Points earned on eligible stays of 3 consecutive nights.
* “Quadruple Points” means you will receive a bonus equal to three-times the number of Base Points earned on eligible stays of 4 or more consecutive nights.
Notes:
* Bonus Points earned on Base Points do not count toward tier qualification
* Standard cap of 100,000 base points per stay applies except for Homewood Suites by Hilton, Home2 Suites by Hilton and Qasr Al Sharq (a member of The Waldorf Astoria) hotels for which there is no cap (see above link for Terms & Conditions - Accrual of Points number 10)

Don't get too excited!
On an annual contract basis my long-term accommodation costs me (or, more precisely, my employer) approximately USD100 per night (pre-tax). For the 114 (?) day promotion period I'd get 114,000 base points (10 points per USD, as I also take airline miles), plus 50% Diamond bonus, plus 3x the base points (again ?) - a total of just over 500,000 points: and precisely as stated in my post #149 above.

I still don't really think this is completely legit
Then at the bottom in the fine print they go on to say
Shouldn't they at least have an asterisk somewhere in the large print, i.e; "..at any of the 4,000 hotels* in 90 countries.."
Curious to know what the regulations are for this kind of thing in the USA. Does anybody know?
Book and stay at any of the 4,000 hotels in 90 countries before January 31, 2014, and earn points fast
The offer ~~~ is valid for eligible stays ~~~ at any participating hotel or resort in the Hilton HHonors™ portfolio (click here for hotels who have chosen to not participate)

The list of non-participating properties is pretty small, especially outside the USA. 24 non-US properties plus 299 US properties--less than 10% of Hilton's portfolio. And from a quick glance, most of the non-participating properties are Hamptons and HGIs and such. Only two Conrads and no Waldorfs on the list.

It worked for me. 1,000 Points posted on Monday along with the points for a 4 night stay. Strangely enough, I only received 1.5x bonus points instead of 4x for the Q4 promo. The posting on my account still says pending so I am assuming the points calculation has not been completed yet or there is a system error. I will follow-up with the hhonors desk in a few days if the error is not corrected.

Ok so here is what I earned on this trip and I think I have been shorted. Let me know what you guys think. I checked in on Oct 8th and checked out on Oct 13 and paid the 2x points for the room. The promo started on Oct 10 so I should have gotten 3x on my base, I didn't. Take 8046 divided by 5 gives you 1609 a night base points. Then X that by 3 nights then by 3x again for the bonus. Should I have not gotten 14481 instead of the 9654? Also be careful when you change your double dip options. I changed mine 2 days after this trip was over and that is what they gave me not what they were at check-in. I like this but the rules are not what they say they are supposed to be.
