Downgraded at check-in

Hi

Situation is, that I booked a room with sofabed at a Hilton.
At checkin I was allocated a room with no sofabed. Ensured that all rooms had same sizes,. Accepted the fact - room was nice!

Well, just booked another stay at the property. I noticed that a room with a sofabed is more expensive than room no sofabed. Also noted that rooms have different sizes. So, I was clearly downgraded.

Question: Should I contact general manager at the property or Hilton Customer Service (maybe receive "be my guest" certificate). I hate being lied to!
I'm a diamond member.

I had good results with the HHonors support. Just received 100.000 points for some shortfalls at our last stay.

Seriously 100.000 points for some shortfalls? Wow. Can you say what happened?

Do you realize that not everyone who uses flyertalk has English as their first language?

Save your time for something that actually matters. You said you got a nice room.
