When will I lose Gold status?

When will I lose Gold status?
I am confused by when my Hilton Gold Status will expire. I earned it the last couple of years through credit card spend, but on this years card it shows an expiration of 03/2014. However my HH account says I still need 4 stays to maintain gold status (and I probably won't hit the 20K spend on this card this year)
If I don't do anything will my Gold actually expire in March 2013? (Priority Club did that to me a couple of years ago and my status went away even though my card said I had another year)

Ignore the four stays to maintain message, there are several threads about people getting that in error like this one from yesterday
