PR13CB wasn't a promotional code? am I wrong (probably yep! :P )? It appears to me as a corporate code.

It is a PROMO code; you need to enter it in the promotional rate box (with capital letters!) rather than the corp. code box.

I have experienced the same before. None of the usual codes work. Forget it. Only public available rates work. Probably due to high demand - this hotel is always busy (no reason for the hotel to discount)

I used PR13 there a lot, but now it´s gone.
I was able to see the PR 13 price last Monday on many hotels in Europe..but a couple of days later when I checked again, the price seemed to have been taken off on many hotels..

That's what i knew!
But when i use it in some EU properties, the rate is reported as a corporate rate!

and it's quite strange!

what's your impression? can i use it?

PR13CB code is dead at most continental European hotels effective 1st April, some were slow to remove but nearly all have.

it still works on some of them. I was just wondering if i can use it without troubles, since I will not do the check-in personally.

Alas PR13CB is too widely published now I guess in forums, blogs etc, leading to far too many using it now compared to even 12months ago which could explain it being stopped this April.

I never use a company rate code at Hiltons as often is higher than standard online rates. (Unlike at IHG where company rate give some discount)

Bummer if true ! I often book a higher rate flex 3 months or so ahead of a stay, then look to rebook as pay now non cancelable a week out when I know i will stay.

At that 7day out time ADR can be more than my early flex, but PR13CB offen still saved some money.

I guess, we all know this will happen at some point...Unfortunately, many bloggers also tweet their blog posts, published the code on Facebook .. the code probably has attracted too much attention

Hopefully, something will come up again soon.

I am just so annoyed with myself that I did not book the rooms I need straight away when I still see the PR13 price last week..

So we need to find somebody who leak the new "coporate benefit" code. Anyone working for BMW, Siemens or MAN?

PR13 was just too widely published and abused I fear. They probably reviewed the annual booking statistics using that code and realised that the risen usage can no way be attributed just to the limited number of German corporates that this code had been put on for.
