Mid-week stay at the Conrad Manila. Upgraded at check-in from Deluxe King to Bay View 1BR suite. Very comfortable, though I wish they had a business center. Would definitely stay there again.

Hilton London Bankside. Upgraded from a Standard King to a Deluxe King the day before, and then to a King One Bedroom Suite on the morning of arrival (visible in the app). On a cheap summer sale rate too ^

Parc 55 San Francisco. King room to junior suite. Only reason was I kept harassing them through messenger on the app. Initially they only gave me a high floor room. After a few more rounds they relented and gave up the Junior suite. I have been a diamond for 7 years, and have NEVER been upgraded to a suite without having to " insist" on an upgrade. Loving this new messenger feature.

Booked a king room, got an upgrade to a named suite (Sir Barton). Didn't ask.
I extended my stay by four nights to do more personal stuff here. I booked a queen rm online. Upon checkout, I informed the desk. Was told Sir Barton room was booked. I was asked if I wanted a room immediately. I said that that was not necessary, assign whatever was convenient for her later - I was going to be helping a friend's brother get ready for college move in. She promised finagling.
I am typing from the Sir Barton suite.
Diamond treatment is far, far above average here.
