Try the following number for applying for the HHonors Visa Signature Card. They take down particulars and supposedly vet you.

The number is 1-888-501-5073.

The agent confirmed that it was a 3 point/5 point reward structure for a Visa Signature Card, with no annual fee.

Good Luck!

Wow! Now, I am really confused! What happened to the Platinum VISA that I now hold and which I just received last year?

Hilton Visa Signature question

I have a Hilton Visa Platinum card and when I access my account on the website, it shows a picture of Hilton Visa Signature card. My questions are:

1. Should I ask them to change mine to the Visa Signature one?
2. I believe that my card (Platinum) covers the rental car loss/damage insurance. Does the new one (Signature) also cover that?

Thanks.

From what I can tell there is not much you miss out on. Signature cards have an open line combined with a revolving line, have a "concierge" service, and "guaranteed" airport parking. Those sound just like worthless gimmicks to me. The signature card seems to have a higher rate, something like almost prime+8. If your platinum card has better rate terms than that, I'd probably just stick with it.

Hilton-Citi Visa Card

I know that some people have posted that there was a 3/5 pt earning card while the reg card is a 2/3 pt earning one. I called a couple of times and all I was told that each of them was a special offer to select people. One rep said if I called the right # I could get the 3/5 card.

So does anyone have the tel# for the 3/5 pt card. I received the offer for the 2/3 with 10,000 bonus pts but would prefer the 3/5 with the 10,000pts. The tel # must be for Citi annd not the telemarketers who sent the letter.

THANKS

craz -- This has been discussed earlier in the following thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum57/HTML/002746.html , including the phone number to call (888-501-5073).

Hope it helps.

Good luck.. I never could find anyone who even acknowledged the existence of the 3/5 card. I finally gave up and got a card from Chase.

I used to have 2/3 hilton visa then I saw a post about 3/5 visa here. I think I called above 800# and requested to switch to the new 3/5 cc. They told me I cannot but they sand me the new 3/5 card a few weeks late. I called them several times to confirm 3/5 points and they always said "yes". It is kind of confusing, but I'm not complaining.

I got a 2/3 card with 10k bonus. I called the number as well, and they said that they have to cancel my own card and I have to reapply again...this is very confusing I am keeping my 2/3 card, I don't use it that much anyhow...

It took forever (month and a half to 2 months) for my 10k bonus and my first month's points to post. However, since then the subsequent months have posted in a timely fashion, so I haven't any complaints (altho I'd love to get a 3/5 visa to go w/ the 3/5 amex . . .). tls
