Does anyone know if the referral program still exists for 2012? I referred 2 people a couple of weeks ago, and naturally, neither one of them received referral emails. I just followed up with Hilton today and spent 30 mins on the phone with a CSR who was very confusing. She kept referring to the program that was in effect for 2011. When I asked about my 2 new referrals, she kept saying she would open a case, but needed the HH numbers for the 2 people. I thought the referrees were supposed to sign up using the referral email!
Can anyone shed any light on what is going on at Hilton?
I had a number of referrals last year and I had to follow up with Hilton to make sure both myself and my referral got their bonus points. I can't believe this process hasn't been smoothed out yet!

Hilton is a mess. I just got an email from the CSR I was speaking with. This is what it says:
I did not ask for a Fast Track. Not once did I mention those words. I asked about the referral program because I had 2 people who were interested in joining HH. Sheesh!
It was my pleasure assisting you in this matter. As we discussed, as a one time exception I have manually added the Fast track to Gold which will allow gold status with 5 stays or 10 nights by June 30, 2012.
If there is something you and I have not covered, please let me know. I will be more than happy to offer further assistance.

Let me see if I understand this correctly:
If a current HHonors member refers me and I join they would receive 1,000 points for each of my stays, maxing out at 25,000.
I, however, am entitled to a maximum of 1,000 points, credited after my second stay.

Yes, the usual referral bonus is available. You get 1,000 bonus points after your second stay. The referrer gets 1,000 bonus points after each stay that you complete (until end of this year, max 25k).
