For the first time in years, I received no bonus points on my statement received today (HH Amex basic), though I had hundreds of dollars in eligible charges: wireless, pharmacy, stand-alone grocery and service station charges.
Called AMEX cust. svc. and the agent was baffled why this happened as he agreed that my charges were eligible for bonus points. He opened a case #and told me to give AMEX 7-10 days. Then he tried to sell me a Surpass! I replied that if AMEX fixed the obvious glitch, I could consider it.
