well - I completed my 10th stay on 6/30 and was indeed bumped back up to Diamond. To my pleasant surprise, I got a new card in the mail yesterday and it says it is good until March 2013. Thank you HH!

Hi, so you were Gold then when you got this fast track offer and it was in the envelope of your new Gold card? I am still Diamond now but will fall back to Gold next year, as far as I see it now, so would be great to get a similar offer then.

You can try just calling customer service. I was able to get a fast track opportunity that way (from silver to gold, though)

By the way, I have a reward stay coming up. Does anyone know if I buy some incidentals whether it will count toward my nights?

incidentals should count toward pts.

Yes, I had been Diamond for 2 or 3 years, but I didn't get enough stays in 2010 to requalify for that level. So at the end of March 2011, I got a Gold card in the mail and it was attached to a paper that said

"As a loyal Hilton Honors member, you've earned a year of Gold status and a shortcut back to Diamond. To reclaim Diamond status, complete just 10 stays or 20 nights between April 1 and June 30, 2011."

So this appears to have been a targeted offer based on the fact that I had been Diamond for a few years previously.

I travel to the Philippines about every 2 months and stay for 3 to 4 weeks at a time. Until recently there was one Hilton Property in the Philippine, and it was in Cebu, a flight away from Makati where I normally stay. I stayed there once, nice place, but it since has been sold.

Anyone know if they plan on opening any in the Philippines in the future. I am currently HH Gold, 21 stays so far this year and and Delta Skymiles Gold.

If there as a property in Metro Mania I woud have been Platinum by now!! Marriott has just opened a beautiful new Hotel in Resorts World here, when is Hilton going to get on board??

I WAS a gold hilton member. Last week I emailed a request for a for a Diamond challenge in the Hilton program to my Hyatt Diamond status. I received an email the next day giving me 90 days to stay 21 nights, I would then be bumped to Diamon until March of 2014. I have spent the last 2 weekends(3 nights each) at a HGI, and I have a 24 night reservation at a Hilton starting the end of this week, so was looning forward to the bump after my long stay.

Just today I received another email with a big long paragraph with the Diamond requirements and saying they do not offer complimentary upgrades to Diamond. Then next paragraph, they reviewed my Hilton activity and Hyatt status and made a one time exception and upgraded my account to Diamond level through March of 2014.

I logged in and sure enough I am now a Diamond. Is it normal to get the bump early? I only asked for the 21 night challenge in my email. Do I need to have my Diamond status updated for my existing reservation, or will the system do it automatically? I am looking forward to the extra points for the long stay.

Thats nice you got immediate bump to diamond. You will NOT have to rebook or update your current reservation to get the benefits.

just called customer service, ask if the have a fast track or challenge to get to diamond, and they say no. Should i call again and say i have received any promotion by email?
