Do Europe hiltons provide power convertors?

Mrs. Reds and I have a trip to Europe next week and we realized we can't find out power convertors.

Is this something Hilton properties in Europe will provide?

In my experience they do, last month I stayed at the Hilton Munich, Hilton Berlin, Hilton Frankfurt and Hilton Prague, and they all supplied it. They will however charge a very high rate if its not returned.

clarification...

A power "convertor" implies a transformer and is large and clunky. Most traveler's requirements are in support of electronics (computer, camera and phone chargers). For most of these devices manaufactured in the last 10 years or so, their power supplies are multi-voltage/multi-frequency. This is easily checked: embossed on the power supply will be something like "110/220V, 50/60 Hz." If that's the case, then all you need is a plug adapter (2 flat blades - US to 2 round pins - Europe {except UK}). These are small and cheap. You can get several for a few dollars. Why take the chance that the hotel has them or that they haven't all been lent out?

What sort of adapter do you need for the UK? I'll be in London in a couple months (staying at the Hilton Trafalger) and figured the one I use for travelling to other parts of Europe would work. I will have my IPAD and IPhone and will need to charge those. Didn't think of asking the hotel though, if they would have it, that would be great as well.

This is really a post more suited for the Travel Technology forum, but I'd suggest getting a Belkin multi-adapter. I have one, you just slide the prongs up to match whatever is where you are. I've never had an issue using mine yet.

If that is what they retail for, then I think that is fair. At the skyclub you have to leave your photo ID to borrow a charger.

If you're talking about power adapters, they can be purchased from numerous Internet vendors and on eBay for $1 to $2. I have an bunch of British and continental European power adapters that I take along when traveling, depending on country.

Most of the Hiltons I've been out have them in the room. If not, they are sure to have them at the front desk. _

no power is adapted with these plugs (your device must be dual power 120/220, 50/60 Hz compatible), they only adapter the different pin configurations.

A small kit of the adapters is allmost travelers need.

Most Hiltons I have stayed at in Europe have mentioned the plug adapters (which do not change voltage) are available on loan, or for purchase. A few, such as the Hilton Northampton, have US-style sockets.

If you know where you're going to be staying, wouldn't it be pretty easy to just ask them via email or a phone call? I'm sure they won't bite.
(If you don't know where you're staying, then you either buy new ones or hope for the best.)

P.S. The Big Red Machine. If I had any say in what Heaven will be like, it will always be summer in the early 70's and Johnny Bench and company will always be playing. (Only they will be BEATING those dang A's and Orioles this time!)

The Hilton Milan, Hilton Venice, and HGI Venice all loaned us adapters and/or converters/transformers over the last couple weeks. Like others said, they would charge about 20 euros if you didn't bring them back.

Adaptors are readily available for rent (with deposit) all over Europe (France, UK, Germany, Ireland, etc).

I'm currently at the Doubletree Cambridge and there is one US style outlet by the desk. That said, it isn't working! The Hilton Tower Bridge, where we stayed earlier this week, also had a US socket by the desk which did indeed work. As others have mentioned, it's probably best to enquire directly or carry one or more of the plug adapters needed. There are many web resources for verifying what plug style works in a particular country.
