Location: The Garden Inn is located in a cluster of hotels right by where Pena Blvd becomes I-70. It's next to among others a Hyatt Place. Luckily there are a bunch of restaurants including Applebees and Ted's Montana Grille nearby. Parking was ample.
Hotel: Property was standard for a Garden Inn. High ceilinged lobby, small breakfast area and a nice sitting area with a couple of fireplaces. There was a business center with three computers and an indoor pool. My only complaint was that the conference room we had our meetings in was next to the pool (and has windows showing the pool for some odd reason) and the level of nosie was high.
Check In: I was part of a group of 30 showing up all with the same company. Check in was rushed and I was not welcomed as an elite member. I was given my preprinted folio with coupon for water and breakfast though.
Room: Standard king size room which felt small after my upgraded Hampton Inn room last week. Internet worked fine. TV was an old Zenith model that had really poor color. View was of the parking lot. Shower took a long time to get hot.
Other: Breakfast was very good. Helpful staff quickly offered me anything from the grille and coffee (I took tea of which they had a large selection) and the food from the buffet was all really good. I wish the dining room was a bit bigger.
Overall a good hotel. Our company rate was $109 for the night. I'd stay here again.
