Hertz made an interesting choice in adding one of the rarest non-limited edition cars in North America to their fleet. The car came with all driver assist packages added on but XM was inactive.

Looks like the old "book random car and pay upgrade to receive unlimited miles on dream car" isnt working anymore... You need to make a deal with them before driving off. Looks like all the Shelby GT-H they are running a promo for unlimited miles but the Porsche's and Mercedes they are stingy on.

This time a better version however; more options (sat nav, heated seats, sun roof), and a tiny (but still sufficient) 875cc engine, much more economical than its 1.5 liter brother I had previously.

I just realized that Hertz opened a location about a mile from my house (they closed an HLE here a few years ago then had a makeshift HLE in an auto body repair shop for a while), used them for the first time this morning.

Not a good start for this location, don't try to BS me passing off a Nissan Rogue as an upgrade from a Premium.
