How is Hertz DCA during the Thanksgiving rush

How is Hertz DCA during the Thanksgiving rush
I'm down in DC and I have a reservation with Hertz for a week rental starting on 11/26 (Day before Thanksgiving). I've never rented a car that close to a major holiday - Anyone have any insight if Hertz (specifically DCA) is reliable during the Thanksgiving week timeframe? I do have back up reservations at Avis, although Hertz is only $207 for the week and Avis is around $320 (And I do want the Hertz double points too).

Not quite sure what you are asking: will there be a car for me? will I receive an upgrade?
DCA is very busy over the holidays.
If you go on Turkey Day itself or the day after, expect to find an almost empty garage.
Most of the cars come back on Sunday afternoon/evening and/or Monday.

I'm asking if they will likely have a car for me the day before Thanksgiving - Not necessarily an upgrade, but something in my reserved class would be nice.
Would IAD or BWI be a better alternative to DCA in terms of having cars available the day before Thanksgiving?

I personally wouldn't trek out to IAD or BWI.
Suggest perhaps you drop them an email in advance with your reservation number?
