So I'm taking advantage of some time between jobs and magically need to be in Florida and Boston around the same time. I took advantage of Hertzs 7.99 a day deal to rent a FCAR or lower. Just trying to figure out the lottery on what I can expect. Last time I rented one-way from JFK to Upstate NY I was slapped with an older volvo with about 80k on it.

Scratching my head trying to figure out the logic of what constitutes F vs YF.
I'm currently driving a bare-bones 2016 Hyundai Sonata that's tagged YF. Last week returned a 2017 Kia Optima tagged F. Optima was slightly better equipped. So a Sonata is technically an upgrade over an Optima?
I typically rent CCARs, which seem a little more logical as the "Y" indicates a higher trim level. Base model Mazda 3 or Sentra tagged as C, whereas a Chevy Cruze LTZ (old style) or fully loaded Corolla Sport is tagged YC.
Any ideas?

It sure seems like a "MB C300 or similar" to a MB CLA250 is a downgrade as one is $8,000 cheaper than the other in base price, but I want an expert opinion. It seems especially like a downgrade since X6 class could have been reserved at time of booking for a lower price than the P4 class. It was smaller than a full-size car would have been and everyone had to squish in. (It did drive quite sporty, though).

Very unlikely to get a Traverse. I did not see any at all in 2 weeks at LAX or PHX. Hertz did not buy that many GM cars during 2016, and the Traverse was not one of the models they acquired (and no Enclaves, either).
If you booked an L4, you are most likely to get a Pathfinder. they've got more of those than everything else put together. There are still quite a few Dodge Journey 7 seaters out there. Some Explorers, too. I would say it is quite likely you will be upgraded to a T or T6 (there are a lot of Yukons on fleet at present).

Booked 3 separate cars over 10 days out of PBI in May. Does anyone have experience renting a Camaro SS Convertible, Porsche 911, or MB SLK 250 from this location? Cars are all listed on the "reserve exact model" but want to be sure I don't get stuck with something else.
This is my first time renting with Hertz, and haven't been able to find to much info on the Adrenaline Series or Dream Series outside of the Hertz website. Pretty much nothing about the Palm Beach location besides yelp.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Basically what is up there.
I have booked in PBI. You will receive 911, and they now have the SLK300/SLC300 IIRC fleet wide(2016/2017). For Camaro SS Convertible, you should also receive this but I haven't seen too many of these in the fleet recently. If they have the Shelby-GTH or the Corvette Stingray, hopefully you can substitute. Not a fan of the Camaro at all.
I'd 100% stick with the 911. It's on a complete other league than the other two cars. I actually have the SLK250 booked in SNA Thursday because it literally was the only car available. The new SLC300 facelift is pretty nice but IMO it's still an old person retired type cruiser or a girl type car lol... Stingray/C63/911 or even the Cayman are the best in the dream fleet right now. Even maybe the Panorama even though it's considered a "Fake" Porsche. Boxster same type of car as SLC300.
BTW... I know my boy JW has been busy and have't been able to upkeep this thread like how it has been but lots need to be updated for sure! 2016/2017 was a huge year for facelifts and rebranding, especially for the dream/prestige/adrenaline cars. All of them are the new facelift cars, which are different than what it says you can book online. Which is a HUGE positive IMO for all of these cars, so expect to get something better than what is pictured/written at Hertz.com ^

BTW... I know my boy JW has been busy and have't been able to upkeep this thread like how it has been but lots need to be updated for sure! 2016/2017 was a huge year for facelifts and rebranding, especially for the dream/prestige/adrenaline cars. All of them are the new facelift cars, which are different than what it says you can book online. Which is a HUGE positive IMO for all of these cars, so expect to get something better than what is pictured/written at Hertz.com ^

I have booked in PBI. You will receive 911, and they now have the SLK300/SLC300 IIRC fleet wide(2016/2017). For Camaro SS Convertible, you should also receive this but I haven't seen too many of these in the fleet recently. If they have the Shelby-GTH or the Corvette Stingray, hopefully you can substitute. Not a fan of the Camaro at all.
I'd 100% stick with the 911. It's on a complete other league than the other two cars. I actually have the SLK250 booked in SNA Thursday because it literally was the only car available. The new SLC300 facelift is pretty nice but IMO it's still an old person retired type cruiser or a girl type car lol... Stingray/C63/911 or even the Cayman are the best in the dream fleet right now. Really appreciate your advice. I accidentally did a 1 day prepaid rate for the SLK/C for 1 day. I'm thinking about canceling it and losing the $50 and getting something else. I wish they had the Stingray, it looks like only the MIA location had those in stock. I'll do my best to take some photos and figure out what is on the lot in PBI, I'll be there 4 times.
Depending on that, might be better to keep the SLK and just negotiate an upgrade when you get there after seeing what they have. Could be cheaper for you. They sometimes even have cars that aren't even up on the website.

My concern would be having to get the LDW because my CC doesn't cover the 911, but does cover the Camaro SS and SLK. That would add another 90 a day.

I'd just keep the SLK and see what you can negotiate into when you get there.

I'm planning on taking your advice, the MB is for the last day, so I might be able to negotiate something since I'll have already spent about $1000 with them.
