Reposting this at the request of Dagrin. Please let me know if there are cars that should be phased out (i.e. Chevy Cobalt is nearing its end-of-life). If you have an addition, please post it along with the class noted on the keychain or the class listed on the reservation, rather than the class you reserved.
Note that this is an overall fleet list, your local Hertz may not have all classes of vehicles, nor any or all vehicles in a class. They may be out of all vehicles in a class, in which case you should be upgraded to the next available class. Finally, models occasionally change classes, so what is displayed here is not guaranteed to be accurate and is subject to change.
Rented a Class B car at MCO A Terminal for 7 weeks.
All they offered was a Chevy Aveo or Nissan Versa.
I asked about a Ford Fcus, but none available.
I chose the Nissan. It rides well but lacks cruise control
and no remote entry, As Hertz #1, I expected better,
but the car will do for my needs.

I was handed a Corolla which is about as exciting as a new toothbrush so I upgraded to a V6 Ford Mustang. I have never been a fan of the V6 Mustang but this is the 305 hp dual exhaust Mustang and I have to say it was worth the extra $10/day. Anyway it says Class D4.
Just a quick note for the sake of it. I paid an extra 75 euro for 4 days ( a little over $25/day) to upgrade from the normal Intermediate class vehicle in FRA in late Nov to get a Lotus Evora. That was the BEST upgrade to price ratio I will ever get in my view. Too bad the Evora has left the fleet now.

Yes, and at the risk of looking repetitive, I think this is probably the most official way of checking. The receipt will reflect what the Hertz computer system thinks the class is. Keychains clearly can hang around for a while and potentially get out of date.

I saw in the system YF and I couldn't believe it. You are correct. One thing to note about the Captiva's is that, yes they are basically the last generation of Saturn Vue (a small crossover SUV), but the new Captiva's in the Hertz fleet are mainly FWD as opposed to the majority of legit suvs with size codes Q4, L, T which are either 4wd or AWD.
