Thumbs up OMG! CO-UA to fly LAX-ITO daily, SFO-ITO weekly.

Stories from Bloomberg, Pacific Business News, KITV, LA Times, Hawaii News Now. And the media release.

I'll be waiting to see whether DL/AS counter.

Saw that... surprised AS hasn't tried ITO yet... granted they only have daily service from SEA with 3x/week 2nd day service seasonally during the winter... so not sure they'd split their ops more vs. adding service to KOA...

Oh come on, the Hilo Hawaiian is awesome!

I sure hope DL does add an ITO route, that would make life so much easier.

They do SJC-KOA too - I just took it last month. Got in an hour early.

SJC/OAK they trade off on this route daily... but as these markets are not developed as much as SEA... I'd think that SEA would get service first to ITO. Also it seems that KOA is more for tourists and ITO is mostly locals, but when I was on the Big Island two weeks ago we did drive thru ITO [airport proper] just to check it out - around 430 AM -
