Ex-Europe to Hawaii August - Where to depart from when you missed BA Sale Fares

Hello everyone. I am a long time lurker on FlyerTalk, first time poster... please be gentle.

I have finally convinced my husband (who, shall we say, does not share in my travel addiction), that Hawaii would be a terrific far-flung adventure for us to have with the kids this summer. Unfortunately, it took too much time to get the go-ahead and I missed the BA sale and all those great fares to HNL in Business Class out of Dublin. I have been searching the Matrix every single day in hopes of some magical fare popping up (although admittedly, I am a novice), and have only seen £2300+ instead of the amazing £1100 and a bit of yester week. I did manage to see a couple of flights out of Helsinki for £1300+ but travelling in the opposite direction for 3 hours is something my dear husband just cannot seem to get his non-journeying head around (obviously I'd do it in a New York minute!😀More tier points? Yes, please!)...

So my question is: Any inside information on One World partner sales? Anything I am not seeing on the Matrix? Any and all help appreciated... If the price is right, maybe I can get him to see the light! Also, are there booking agents on FlyerTalk that specialise in pricing up and selling Matrix fares? Fees understood, of course. Hope I am not asking anything that is going to get me shot down😁. I love the site. Glad to know my travel addiction is shared by so many and I am not as crazy as my husband thinks I am! Cheers, guys!

I would click the little triangle at the bottom left and ask the Mods to move this to our "BA" or "oneworld" forum. You'll probably get more help there. Best of luck with your hubby.
