Redeeming Hawaiian miles for AA Flight?

Redeeming Hawaiian miles for AA Flight?
Is it possible to use HA miles for an AA flight? If so, how? I cant search for AA flights on HA but it says they are a partner. I have enough miles on each for a ticket but not enough for 2 tickets in either, would love to use these miles!

Indeed, this is best asked of Hawaiian frequent flyers, so we'll move this for better information.
Just a reminder, cross-posting is not so acceptable on FlyerTalk. It's better to use the "alert a moderator" widget (looks like a triangular, red-edged white sign with an exclamation point) to ask a moderator to move the posts / thread in question.

You got to call HA for award bookings on partner carriers (which includes AA).
I can't find the "master" thread for HA Partner Awards, but I believe the general consensus is that attempting to redeem HA miles on partner airlines is a rather difficult task.

It shouldn't be any difficult than find sAAver awards on AA-metal at www.aa.com and giving the dates & flight numbers to the HA Res agent. Only the lowest of AA's five award pricing buckets (in coach, anyway) will qualify.
