New Zone Boarding
Saw this on their FB page today (10/21/14) ...
Starting today, we're introducing zone boarding to help get you onto your flight and ensure an on-time departure. Zone numbers are displayed on boarding passes which correspond to the following categories on our Airbus A330 & Boeing 767 aircraft:
Zone 1 First/Business Class, Pualani Platinum, military personnel in uniform
Zone 2 Pualani Gold, Premier Club, Extra Comfort, Preferred Seats
Zone 3 Rear section of the aircraft
Zone 4 Mid section of the aircraft
Zone 5 Front section of the aircraft
Our Boeing 717 aircraft will use three boarding zones:
Zone 1 First Class, Pualani Platinum, military personnel in uniform
Zone 2 Pualani Gold, Premier Club, Preferred Seats
Zone 3 All rows

I still believe First Class passengers should board before Plats. But I am glad to know HA will be doing this moving forward. Too many times have there been all pualani's boarding at the same time. That is, as mentioned before, chaotic!
