Tough call, what is the destination? I've seen mokulele have rolling delays that last all day, not mucH experience with pacific wings.

OGG to KOA one way.
price compare includes a bag per person - still comes out equal.
Same plane as well.

If the schedule works out I'd spend a little more and fly on Hawaiian.

I think I will go with Mokulele. This statement on PW site in "contact us" next to "Go green" is a killer

We love to hear from our Customers and encourage you to send us your comments and questions by U.S. mail. At Pacific Wings we steer clear of the chat-style, instant response, casual email format and focus on meaningful Customer dialogue. This is not because we don’t care. It’s because that style counters our commitment to Customer Service.
Our customers deserve accurate, specific, personal, and professionally written responses to their questions and concerns. It takes time to research, investigate, and compose a real business letter. We answer every letter we receive in the order it arrives, and we streamline in order to keep our costs low, our people productive, our operating efficiency high, and our responses warm and personal.

Mokulele or Pacific Wings?

Avoid Mokulele if they are affiliated with Go/Mesa

Tony,

You realize that Mokulele was sold almost a year ago, right? Mesa no longer has *any* control over Moku....

The planes aren't flown by go! pilots

the planes aren't fixed by go! mechanics

the planes aren't worked by go! agents

the reservations folks aren't go! agents (actually a tad friendlier)

customer service isn't handled by go!

so......

But thanks for the clarification
GO is the worst in the industry

Mokulele or Pacific Wings?

Btw Mokulele planes are small 9 passenger or so models
If you're not used to puddle jumpers then Mokulele is not for you whether or not affiliated with Go Mesa

The flight is short. Even a jet doesn't fly high.

All I can think of s to look at another site like trip advisor where they may post most recent experiences with the airlines.

I flew that route on northwest when it used to have a sea-ogg-koa-sea route.

The question for you is to see what type of planes each flight is using and ask yourself on how comfortable you would feel flying on small aircraft.

Mesa & Mokulele still have a codeshare, but does that make Mokulele a bad company? I've had horrible experiences on American Airlines, but that doesn't mean I am going to avoid Alaska Airlines because they codeshare and partner together.

A Pacific Wings Caravan also just took out a light post in LUP the other day... just something to consider. The wing is going to take some time to fix... and just saw this on the Mokulele website..
