Bought a new computer that came with Microsoft IE9 preinstalled. I'm unable log in to www.hawaiianair.com or search for flights. Is Hawaiian Airlines so far behind the times that their web site can't work with IE9?

Thanks for the suggestion, but no compatibility view does not help in this case.

I've been logged into HA website on IE 9 with and without compatibility view just fine and dandy. I think your problem may be the new computer. Try uninstalling IE or reinstalling it, check the security settings, privacy settings, etc. Perhaps the manufacturer tweaked the settings during OEM software preloading and manufacturing.

Thanks for the info, but still can't get it to work. Set security and privacy settings to absolute lowest levels and no luck. Contacted HA web support and they said that login and flight search do not work with IE9. I've not had problems with any other web sites, just these two features on hawaiianair.com.

Interesting. I had a problem with the site a week ago, using Firefox, and the tech support guy said to try using IE, said that was the best browser for the site.
i run ie8 on my desk top and ie9 on my lap top never had a problem on the hawaiian web site. i will say ie9 has more problem's than ie8. if you can not get ie9 to work then down load ie8 and unstalled ie9. i like ie8 better anyway.good luck with your problem. HA comuster service is not that good.
