While there are some turning up their noses at this, I think this is great. An easy way to get HHonors points since you can transfer HA --> HHonors at 1:2

I agree, this is great. Just made an amazon purchase for ~ $100 that should net me 400 hhonors points.

I'm having an annoying problem I can't seem to figure out, if anyone has any thoughts I appreciate it. I log into my Hawaiian account successfully - but when I navigate to the amazon shopping link, from there, it takes me to a pop up that says I need to be logged in, press continue to log in. When I press continue, it takes me right back to the "my account details" page. I have tried a million things - even tried it in both Firefox and IE - can't for the life of me get this to work. Any ideas?

Same here.
I tried disabling ad-block too but same results.
Have to call Hawaiian Miles and request the transfer. The miles have to be transferred in groups of 5,000.
I looked that up. Hawaiian Miles has a true Tinker to Evers to Chance combo:
Shop at Amazon.com through HM shopping, 2 points per dollar.
Transfer HM points to Hilton, 2:1.
Transfer Hilton points to airlines (ratio varies, most airlines are at 1:10).
Travel!
At 1:10, to earn 1,000 miles:
* Spend $2500 at Amazon through HM shopping
* Transfer 5k HM points to HH.
* Transfer 10 HH points to 1k miles.
Did I get this correct?

I'm not having any problems with this. I do have the Hawaiian Miles toolbar so I don't know if that makes a difference. On a side note - I still haven't seen any miles post from my July 18th transaction.

Sounds right, but I believe at least for AA you'd get 1,500. The value of such a transfer is debatable though.
